Okinawa is a world apart from the hustle and bustle of mainland Japan, playing host to a culture contrasting to mainland Japan’s. A stunning blend of unique heritage, combined with modern Japanese culture set amongst beautiful beaches and natural beauty with a sub-tropical climate all year round. Whether you include just the main island, or head to one of the many other Okinawan islands, Okinawa is a perfect place to include in your Japan holiday.
Packages including Okinawa Main Island, Kume Island or other islands can be arranged. Please contact Jaltour directly for further details.

Iriomote Island
Iriomote is in some ways the most unique island in the Okinawa Islands. Most of the island is blanketed with lush subtropical woodland and mangroves and plays host to an array of fascinating wildlife, some of which is exclusive to Iriomote. The rare Iriomote Wildcat and the Iriomote Firefly are native to and can only be found on this island. Such unique natural diversity has earned Iriomote the name of ‘Asia’s Galapagos Island’. Iriomote also boasts the ‘Iriomote-jima Onsen’, Japan’s southern-most hot spring.
