| Day 1 | London – Tokyo Depart London on a direct flight to Tokyo. |
| Day 2 | Tokyo Transfer by airport bus to your hotel. Stay for 3 nights. |
| Day 3 | Tokyo Morning sightseeing tour of Tokyo, including Tokyo Tower Observatory, Imperial Palace Plaza and Asakusa Kannon Temple. Afternoon free. |
| Day 4 | Tokyo Free to explore Tokyo, or you may take an optional tour. |
| Day 5 | Tokyo - Mt. Fuji & Hakone Travel by express train from Shinjuku Station to Hakone using the Hakone Free Pass. Free to explore the Hakone National Park. Stay overnight. |
| Day 6 | Hakone - Kyoto Transfer to Odawara Station using the Hakone Free Pass. Begin using your Japan Rail Pass to travel by bullet train to Kyoto. Stay for 3 nights. |
| Day 7 | Kyoto Morning guided sightseeing tour of Kyoto, including the Golden Pavilion, Nijo Castle, and the Imperial Palace or Nishi Honganji. Afternoon free. |
| Day 8 | Kyoto Free to explore Kyoto, or you may take an optional tour. |
| Day 9 | Kyoto - Miyajima (D) Use your Japan Rail Pass to travel by bullet train to Hiroshima and on to Miyajima Island. Stay for 2 nights at a ryokan. |
| Day 10 | Miyajima / Hiroshima (B, D) Free to explore Miyajima or use your Japan Rail Pass to visit Hiroshima. |
| Day 11 | Miyajima - Tokyo (B) Use your Japan Rail Pass to transfer to Hiroshima and continue by bullet train to Tokyo. Stay overnight. |
| Day 12 | Tokyo - London Transfer by express train to Tokyo Narita Airport using your Japan Rail Pass. Depart on a direct flight to London, arriving the same day. |

Enjoy panoramic views of Tokyo from the Tokyo Tower Observatory. Visit the Imperial Palace Plaza and Tokyo’s oldest and most famous Buddhist temple; Asakusa Kannon Temple. Travel on to Mount Fuji and Hakone National Park where you can see active sulphur vents. Kyoto and Nara will enable first-time travellers to feel and enjoy the ‘old’ Japan.
In addition the aforementioned places, independent travellers can visit the famous sites of Hiroshima and Miyajima Island. A traditional ryokan stay is also included so that you can experience typical Japanese culture and customs.
