The indepedent tour offers you a chance to see Mount Fuji from a different and much less-visited area called Shuzenji; a remote onsen town. Visit the largest lake in Japan, Lake Biwa, to take in the stunning views and explore the nearby areas, including Hikone Castle; an original structure dating from 1622.

| Day 3 | Tokyo Morning sightseeing tour of Tokyo including Tokyo Tower Obersvatory, Imperial Palace Plaza and Asakusa Kannon Temple. Afternoon free. |
| Day 4 | Toyko Free to explore Tokyo or you may take an optional tour. |
| Day 5 | Toyko - Shuzenji Travel indepedently to Shuzenji via Mishima (tickets provided) Stay for 2 nights in a ryokan. |
| Day 6 | Shuzenji Free to explore Shuzenji, Amagi-Toge and surrounding areas. |
| Day 7 | Shuzenji - Kyoto Travel to Kyoto via Mishima (tickets provided). Stay 3 nights. |
| Day 8 | Kyoto Free to explore Kyoto in the morning. In the afternoon, enjoy a guided scenic tour along the Philosopher’s Path including a visit to Ginkakuji Temple and a Tea Ceremony experience. |
| Day 9 | Kyoto Free tp explore Kyoto and nearby areas. |
| Day 10 | Kyoto - Otsu, Lake Biwa Take a local train to Otsu (pay locally). Transfer by shuttle bus to your hotel. Stay for 2 nights. |
| Day 11 | Otsu Free tp explore Otsu and nearby Lake Biwa, Hikone Castle and Enryakuji Temple. |
| Day 12 | Otsu - Osaka Travel independently by train to Osaka (pay locally). Stay overnight. |
| Day 13 | Osaka - London Transfer by airport bus (pay locally) to Osaka Itami Airport. Depart on a flight to London via Tokyo, arriving the same day.. |
