Itinerary

Day 1	London - Tokyo Depart London on a non-stop Japan Airlines flight to Tokyo.
Day 2	Tokyo Transfer by public airport bus to your hotel. Stay overnight.
Day 3	Tokyo - Kushiro Transfer independently to Tokyo Haneda Airport. Take a Japan Airlines domestic flight from Tokyo Haneda Airport to Kushiro. Stay for 3 nights.
Day 4-5	Kushiro Free time to explore Kushiro. The Hokkaido Rail Pass is valid from day 5 to explore the Kushiro area.
Day 6	Kushiro - Tokachigawa Onsen (D) Use your Hokkaido Rail Pass to travel to Obihiro. Transfer independently by bus or taxi to Tokachigawa Onsen. Relax and enjoy the soothing hot springs. Stay overnight.
Day 7	Tokachigawa Onsen - Furano (B) Transfer independently by bus or taxi to Obihiro Station. Use your Hokkaido Rail Pass to travel to Furano. Stay for 2 nights.
Day 8	Furano Free to explore the Furano area using your Japan Rail Pass.
Day 9	Furano - Sapporo Travel to Sapporo using your Hokkaido Rail Pass. Stay for 3 nights.
Day 10-11	Sapporo Free to explore Sapporo.
Day 12	Sapporo - Tokyo - London Transfer independently by airport bus to New Chitose Airport. Take a domestic Japan Airlines flight to Tokyo Narita Airport for your non-stop Japan Airlines flight to London, arriving on the same day.

Only an International Driver’s License issued in accordance with the Geneva Convention 1949 is accepted for driving in Japan.

Itinerary

Day 1	London - Tokyo Depart London on a non-stop Japan Airlines flight to Tokyo.
Day 2	Tokyo Transfer by public airport bus to your hotel. Stay overnight.
Day 3	Tokyo - Kushiro Transfer independently to Tokyo Haneda Airport. Take a Japan Airlines domestic flight from Tokyo Haneda Airport to Kushiro. Pick up your rental car at Kushiro Airport. Stay for 2 nights.
Day 4	Kushiro Free time to explore Kushiro area, including Kushiro National Park and marshlands.
Day 5	Kushiro - Akan National Park (D) Drive to Kawayu Onsen in the Akan National Park. Stay for 3 nights in a ryokan hotel in a western-style room.
Day 6-7	Akan National Park (B, D) Free to explore the Akan area, including such places as Lakes Mashu, Kussharo or Akan, or visit the Shiretoko Peninsula.
Day 8	Akan National Park - Daisetsu-zan National Park (B, D) Drive to Sounkyo Onsen in the Daisetsu-zan National Park. Stay for 3 nights in a Japanese-style room.
Day 9-10	Daisetsu-zan National Park (B, D) Free to explore the area, including Furano, Asahikawa and Biei.
Day 11	Daisetsu-zan National Park - Sapporo (B) Drive to Sapporo. Return your rental car on arrival. Stay for 3 nights.
Day 12-13	Sapporo Free to explore Sapporo.
Day 14	Sapporo - Tokyo - London Transfer independently by airport bus to New Chitose Airport. Take a domestic Japan Airlines flight to Tokyo Narita Airport for your non-stop Japan Airlines flight to London, arriving on the same day.
